Walker Wins Wisconsin Recall Fight

In a crushing blow for Big Labor activists across the country Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker survived their attempt to oust him via a recall election.  The win has energized republicans across the nation and dampened spirits for democrats.  The big question now is whether or not this loss means union activists are finally starting to feel the effects of their diminished memberships.  Big Labor had picked this fight in part as a way to show the nation they were back as a major political force to be reckoned with but since they lost you have to wonder if all they did was prove their own irrelevance.  One positive note coming out of this for democrats was that exit polls showed Obama leading Romney in the race for the states electoral votes.  Should be an interesting campaign season.
